Persistence
Persistence covers where NEXUS keeps things on disk and, for plans that include it, where it backs them up to. It's a short section: one shortcut into the filesystem, and one plan-gated feature.
Controls
| Label | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Open in Finder | Opens the folder holding agent homes on disk (persona, memory, and bit files for every agent). | — |
| Backup & Sync — Status | Whether Backup & Sync is available on your plan. | Not entitled |
| Upgrade to unlock Backup & Sync | Shown instead of the controls below when your plan doesn't include Backup & Sync. | — |
| Backup Destinations | One or more folders NEXUS backs up to, once entitled. Add or remove them individually. | None |
Notes
Backup & Sync requires a paid plan. Without one, this section shows a "Not entitled" status and an upgrade link in place of the destination-folder controls — there is nothing broken to troubleshoot if you don't see them; see Account to confirm what your current plan includes.
Open in Finder is available regardless of plan — it's a read-only shortcut to where every agent's identity actually lives on disk (its persona, its memory, and any bit files attached to it), independent of whether you ever back that folder up anywhere.
