General
General is the first section of App Settings and the smallest one. It's where you confirm which build of NEXUS you're running, decide whether new windows open full screen, jump to two other views without hunting for them in the rail, and replay the short tour NEXUS shows on first launch.
Like every App Settings control, everything here applies the instant you change it — there is no Save step. See Settings for how that differs from the contextual panels covered in Contextual settings.
Controls
| Label | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| App / Version | Read-only: the installed app and its version number. | — |
| Language | Shows the interface language. Disabled — NEXUS ships with an English-only interface, so this can't be changed yet. | Not adjustable |
| Full Screen | Switches the window in or out of full screen; also sets the default for new windows and future launches. | On |
| Show Workspace Insights | Opens the workspace insights view — local-only analytics on contribution heatmaps, usage, and density trends for the current workspace. | — |
| Browse Agent Skills | Opens the skills browser. | — |
| Restart Tour | Replays the short coach-mark tour that highlights the controls you use most, from the beginning. | — |
Notes
Language is not a stub waiting on a setting you haven't found — the picker exists so the option is visible, but NEXUS has one interface language today. There's nothing misconfigured if it won't change.
Restart Tour starts the exact same walkthrough shown the first time you launched NEXUS: a numbered sequence of steps ("3 of 17", for example) with Back, Next, and Skip, covering the rail, the Nexus Room, the agent roster, and mesh controls. It's safe to skip or interrupt — nothing else in NEXUS depends on it finishing.
